How do I get started on my yacht charter process?
You may choose to drop us an email at sales@tridentmarineasia.com or call us at 65 6904 8327 for any booking enquiries.  If you already know which yacht you would like to charter, simply click our ‘Booking Calendar’ page and fill in your details! Please wait for one of our charter professionals to come back to you with the confirmation letter and your charter pass.

For a self-driven boat, please ensure that you have completed Powered Pleasure Craft Driving License (PCCDL) and Basic Competency Course (BCC ) before proceeding the booking. More information about PCCDL and BCC, please refer to https://www.theboatshopasia.com/tbsatrainingacademy
How do I make payment?
Payment can be done through bank transfer, Paypal or PayNow. All payment to be made prior to the yacht charter. Booking is only confirmed once payment has been successfully made.
What about F&B?
You are free to bring your own food and drinks for the charter.
In the event you are celebrating an event with a skippered charter, have a look at our F&B tab. You can order from our partners and have the food brought to the boat.

What does the charter rate include?
All skippered yacht charter rates include the usage of the yacht, a skipper, crew member(s), and necessary fuel for the duration of the charter.

For a self-driven boat, all rates include the usage of the boat only. Fuel for the charter will be charged as extra to the charterer. The boat will be delivered full of fuel at the beginning of the charter and upon return the charterer will refuel the boat full. Fuel charges can be paid directly by the charterer to the marina or it can be put on TBSA’s tab where it will be taken off the charter deposit. Note that for fuel charged to TBSA, we will levy a 10% service charge on top of the fuel fee.
What should I bring for the yacht charter?
Wear light clothes and easily removable footwear. Kindly note that all our yachts have a strict no-shoes onboard policy). We also recommend bringing your own sunscreen, sunglasses and hat, if you are going for a day-time charter. If you intend to swim in the waters, do bring along your own towels, toiletries and change of clothes. For guests who might be prone to motion sickness, please bring your own medication and take it at least an hour before the charter. Kindly note that crew members will not be allowed to issue motion sickness pills to guests.
What route will the yacht take during the charter, and what will be the itinerary?
Depends on whether you are on a skippered charter or bareboat charter. For Skippered charters, the experience consists of a combination of both cruise and anchor. Cruising destinations are to the Southern Islands (St. John’s Island, Lazarus Island, and Kusu Island), Sentosa, and Marina Barrage only. Requests for other cruising destinations are at the Captain’s discretion and additional fuel surcharges will apply. The itinerary will usually start with a 45mins cruise towards the Southern Islands, followed by a 2 – 3 hour anchorage there. The final hour of the charter includes a cruise towards Marina Barrage where guests will be able to view the city skyline, and finally back to the marina.

For a self-driven boat, our knowledgeable team members will suggest the day itself according to the weather and current of the day. And it will be up to you to create your own nautical adventure!
What activities and equipment are available on-board?
The type of activities and equipment vary from yacht to yacht. Please check with our team for the available equipment and their relevant rental charges.

What happens if it rains on the day of the charter?
In case of light rain, the charter will still proceed as arranged. However, if there is a thunderstorm and the Captain/Skipper deems it unfit to proceed, the charter may be postponed to another available date. For pre-ordered F&B, we will arrange for you to take-away. Fresh orders will have to be made for the postponed date. No refund will be provided.
